Bio:
Ben Zhai is the founder and CEO of CAiPITAL Group, an "human capital investment" firm. CAiPITAL Group invests in leading Chinese companies and startup companies with leadership and talent resources, and supports and co-invests with leading private equity and venture capital firms . He is also the founder of Yuting Action, a not-for-profit organization aiming to provide positive and inspirational "experience and exposure" to underprivileged children for their balanced and healthy personal growth. Prior to these roles, he had several leadership responsibilities including leading the Global Offshore China Center at Russell Reynolds Associates from its New York office as Managing Director, where he built a global practice to serve Chinese companies with global ambition; leading Egon Zehnder's Industrial Practice as its Managing Partner Asia Pacific. He was Head of A. T. Kearney Beijing office, and worked in Sydney and Shanghai offices. He also worked with EDS Managing Consulting Services in Canberra, Australia. His earlier career started with a Chinese industrial company and a technology startup company. Ben graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology in Computer Science, and from Australia National University with an M.B.A. He is also a GMP graduate of Harvard Business School. He is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
