Belinda Wong is CEO of Starbucks China, one of the largest and fastest growing international markets. Belinda is responsible for overseeing all facets of Starbucks business in the market, including vision, growth strategy, partner and brand development. Belinda joined Starbucks in January 2000 and has held leadership positions across a variety of business units and geographies. Her experience included working as managing director of Starbucks Coffee Singapore as well as the general manager for Starbucks business in Hong Kong. Before joining Starbucks, Belinda was marketing manager of McDonald’s China Development Company, where she was responsible for formulating marketing strategies and plans for the China market. Belinda holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in finance from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She serves as a member on the Faculty Advisory Board for UBC’s Sauder School of business. In Fortune China’s prestigious annual list of China's most influential businesswomen, Belinda was ranked one of the top 25 consecutively in the past four years. Belinda was also listed in the 50 people shaping the future of the U.S. - China relationship by Foreign Policy, and the Top 100 Chinese Business Women by Forbes China in 2015. Belinda is a Fellow of the fourth class of the China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
