Bio:
Beth Vanderslice has been a partner at Trewstar Corporate Board Services, a firm specializing in the placement of diverse candidates on corporate boards, since February 2019. She serves on the board of AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) and had been serving on the board of Xilinx, Inc. from December 2000 through its acquisition by AMD in February 2022. Beth was previously a general manager of Lycos, Inc. through its acquisition. She was CEO of Wired Digital, Inc., the online-media division of Wired Ventures, Inc., and a member of the boards of both Wired Digital, Inc. and Wired Ventures, Inc. before leading the company’s acquisition by Lycos, Inc. Prior to joining Wired Digital, Beth was a principal in the San Francisco investment banking firm Sterling Payot, which helped raise the capital to launch Wired Magazine, and Vice President at H. W. Jesse & Co., an investment banking firm in San Francisco. She also worked with the IBM Corporation before earning her MBA from the Harvard Business School. In addition, Beth holds her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Boston College. She was a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and the World Presidents’ Organization (WPO) and is an Aspen Institute Henry Crown Fellow. She also serves as a Trustee of Boston College. Beth resides in New York City with her husband and three children.
