Sedibeng (Sedi) Ngubane joined the Africa Leadership Initiative (ALI) South Africa as Program Manager in May of 2014. Previously, she served as Non-Executive Director of iKhambi Care, and before that she worked as Group Organisational Development Manager at Tsogo Sun. During her tenure at Tsogo, she designed and implemented the company’s Wellness Programme, was a Trustee of the Tsogo Medical Aid Fund and was responsible for the company’s Corporate Social Investment, among other responsibilities.
Early in her career, Sedibeng worked at MTN as part of the marketing team during the test phase before the launch of cellular telephony. At MTN she held the position of Sports Sponsorship Manager, targeting the emerging market.
Sedibeng also has extensive entrepreneurial experience, having run her own businesses in stationary supply, bespoke corporate gifts, a guesthouse and events and seminar coordinating. Sedibeng received a BA degree from University of South Africa (UNISA),Management Advancement Programme (MAP) from Henley International Business School and a post graduate certificate in Advanced Programme in Applied Organisational Development, UNISA.
