The Action Forum will convene virtually from August 22 to August 28. As you confront the Fierce Urgency of Now brought on by compounding crises across the globe, we are pleased to offer the opportunity to refresh your perspectives through text-based dialogue, engage with Fellows from around the world, and find collaborators for your initiatives.
Registration is now closed. You can follow along on @AspenAction on Twitter and @AspenAGLN on Instagram. Additionally, you can learn more about plenary Livestreams on the Live page. If you have questions about the event, please email Phoebe Copeland.
“We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there is such a thing as being too late. This is no time for apathy or complacency. This is a time for vigorous and positive action.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
Our modern world sits on the precipice of significant change. Citizens across the globe are challenging racial and economic injustices. Communities are grappling with the effects of a virus not yet controlled. The planet and humankind are renegotiating their relationship. Business is rethinking its mandate. Technology is revealing both possibility and peril. People around the world are reconsidering truth in an era of disputed facts. What is the fierce call to action you hear? Is it shaking you from apathy, complacency or confusion? How might we, collectively, confront the fierce urgency of now?
It is time to get uncomfortable. Now is the time to ask the hard questions and take courageous action. To realize the promise of leadership, we invite you to come together with other high-integrity, action-oriented Fellows to reflect and recommit to action.
