Title and Organization:
Kenneth Urbina is CEO at Mega Pharma S.A., a Central American pharmaceutical distribution company that imports generic medicine from India. He is an entrepreneur who is passionate about Education, Entrepreneurship, and Urban Design. He thinks each one, both individually and collectively, has a direct influence on our quality of life, as well as being essential to the future development of the Central American region. Over the last few years he has developed companies in multiple industries including Pharmaceuticals, Agriculture, Event Production, and Eco-Tourism. He is an Educational Leadership Fellow at UPenn's Graduate School of Education (PennGSE), where his main focus has been on establishing a network of leaders in the field of education throughout the Western Hemisphere and on implementing a postgraduate program (Management & Educational Leadership) in Central America run by PennGSE and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He is a member of the Global Shapers (World Economic Forum), Entrepreneur's Organization, and TEDxManangua. Kenneth graduated from U.C.L.A. with a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in Urban Planning. He is a Fellow of the 10th class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
