Anne Welsh McNulty is the co-founder and managing partner of JBK Partners, with businesses including investment management and a private philanthropic foundation which is focused on leadership development and social change. Previously, Anne was a Managing Director of Goldman Sachs and a senior executive of the Goldman Sachs Hedge Fund Strategies Group.
Under her leadership, the McNulty Foundation has established several initiatives to support individuals who strive to make a difference in the world. This includes the John P. McNulty Prize, which aims to recognize the extraordinary success of global leaders solving the world’s most intractable challenges. The McNulty Prize is given in partnership with the Aspen Institute, where Anne serves as a Trustee of the Board of Directors.
Anne serves on the Board of Overseers as well as the Leadership Advisory Board at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her MBA. The newly named McNulty Leadership Program at Wharton is pushing the boundaries of traditional education in the fields of leadership and teamwork and Anne’s support has catalyzed new strategic initiatives to expand the program’s audience and offerings.
Anne is a former Trustee of Villanova University, where she graduated as valedictorian and is launching the Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women’s Leadership in 2017. Anne is also on the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan Opera of New York, the Child Mind Institute in New York, and the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia. She is a Trustee of the Naples Winter Wine Festival, benefiting children's charities in Collier County, Florida.
