Bio:
As Director of Skoll Community and Convenings, Sarah has executive oversight for the international portfolio of Skoll Awardees and the platforms that accelerate entrepreneurial approaches and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. The Skoll World Forum, the premiere Skoll convening, takes place each year in Oxford, England. Prior to Skoll, Sarah had more than 20 years of community organizing, executive marketing, communications and event experience in the public, private and government sectors. She served as the VP of Communications at the X PRIZE Foundation, VP of Communications at the Prostate Cancer Foundation as well as a VP at Porter Novelli. In addition to executive corporate and non-profit experience, she also served in the Clinton Administration as the Marketing Director for the Peace Corps and the Press Secretary of the National School-to-Work Office at the US Department of Education. She was as a panelist on a national public affairs television show for three years, started her career with Senator John F. Kerry (D-MA), and earned a BA with honors in Political Science and International Relations from Boston College. In her off-time, she and her husband try to stay ahead of their 12 year old daughter and twin eight year old boys.
