Frederick J. Ferrer Fred Ferrer is the Chief Executive Officer of The Health Trust, a non-profit organization founded in 1996 as a community benefit foundation with $52 million in assets. The Health Trust provides direct health services, programs, grant making and advocacy to support its vision: Silicon Valley as the healthiest region in the U.S. Fredrick has 27 years of experience in child development, non-profit management, family support and community relations. He is also former Executive Director of Estrella Family Services, past chair and commissioner on the FIRST 5 Commission of Santa Clara County and serves on numerous boards, including the Rocketship Charter Elementary Schools board. Fredrick has received numerous awards, among them the John Gardner Leadership Award from the American Leadership Forum Silicon Valley. He is an adjunct faculty member at De Anza College and Santa Clara University's Graduate School of Education and holds a B.S. from Santa Clara University and an M.S. from San Jose State University. Fredrick is a Fellow of the 9th class of the Pahara-Aspen Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
