Muna AbuSulayman is a partner at Directions Consultancy, focusing on impact philanthropy. Previously Muna served as the founding Secretary General of Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation in Saudi Arabia where she focused on projects empowering women and poverty alleviation in Saudi Arabia, Islam/West Dialogue, and humanitarian aid. Prior to that, she was the strategic manager in charge of corporate philanthropy at Kingdom Holding Company and worked as a lecturer of English literature at the King Saud University. Since 2001 she has been co-hostess of the no. 1 Arab TV show Kalam Nouam. She was nominated as UNDP Goodwill Ambassador for KSA and a WEF Young Global Leader in 2007. Muna received her BA and MA degrees from George Mason University, and is an ABD from King Saud University. She is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Middle East Leadership Initiative of The Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
