Bio:
Mark Fraley currently works as the Senior Advisor for Advocacy and Organizing at Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE). Mark served as the Vice President for Alumni Engagement at Teach For America, which led him to his present role at LEE. Mark spent over 15 years as a volunteer and organizer with the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF), the nation's oldest and largest community organizing network. With the IAF, Fraley helped launch two community organizations, Action In Montgomery in metro D.C. and Southeastern Wisconsin Common Ground. Mark taught third grade at Polk Elementary School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as a 1992 Teach For America Corps Member. Fraley earned his B.A. in political science from Miami University (OH) and his M.P.A. from the University of Delaware. Mark lives in Wisconsin with his wife, Leigh Anne, and their three children, Bayden, Isaiah, and Benjamin. He is a Fellow of the 10th class of the Pahara-Aspen Education Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
