Annmarie Higgins is the former Vice President of Human Resources for SCANA/Dominion Energy. She served previously as Vice President Corporate Human Resources Americas for BMW, and as Vice President HR for BMW Manufacturing. Prior to joining BMW, she worked for Mitsubishi Polyester Film (formerly Hoechst Celanese), where she served as the company's Human Resources Director. She led the the creation of a new health care initiative that achieved national recognition as a result of implementing a number of innovative solutions and best practices. Annmarie was involved in the start-up of the South Carolina Business Coalition on Health, later serving as Chair. She is a graduate of The Riley Institute Diversity Leaders Initiative and formerly held a number of board positions, including Prisma Health Upstate, USC's Reigel and Emory Board, Utilities Employees Credit Union, United Way Piedmont, United Way Young Philanthropist Society, Leadership Greenville, and Opportunity Greenville. Annmarie earned her bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia. She is a Fellow of the ninth class of the Liberty Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
