Bio:
Surfer, optimist and pet lover. In 2009, David became the first person with a disability in the history of El Salvador to be elected as a Congressman of the Legislative Assembly. Thanks to the results delivered to the nation in each legislature, he was reelected for four consecutive terms. He has a degree in Public Administration Management from the University of Chile (Chile), and in Management of Entrepreneurship and Innovation projects of International Cooperation from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso (Chile). SOCIAL IMPACT He is forerunner of Fundación Sin Límites, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting initiatives in favor of the sector of people with disabilities, as well as promoting respect for their rights. He was Vice President of Special Olympics of El Salvador. LEGISLATIVE LEGACY David has given life to important laws and reforms, staying close and open to the proposals of different civil organizations and the different productive sectors at the national level. As Congressman he focused on five main areas: INCLUSION OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES; PROTECTION OF THE RIGHTS OF THE ELDERLY; PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, TRAFFIC AND ROAD SAFETY; PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES; LABOR LEGISLATION.
