Tethey Martinez de Murillo is the Executive Director of The Honduran Chamber of Insurance Companies. As executive director she has to ensure the objectives of the Chamber of Insurance Companies are met, keeping the necessary impartiality for the benefit of the entire Insurance Sector, monitoring the proper progress of the organization, ensuring strict compliance with the instructions of its General Assembly and its Board of Directors, representing the Chamber before other organozation, such as regulatory entities in accordance with the guidelines of the Board of Directors.
Tethey was named President of el Regimen de Aportaciones Privadas Rap in representation of the Private Sector. RAP is the largest Pension Fund with a Social Interest, managed by a Tripartite Board of Directors. Define the content of the agenda and the dates of meetings of the General Assemblies and the Board of Directors of the Institution, leading the meetings of the General Assembly and the Board of Directors, directing the debates of the directors representing the business, labor and government sectors. Ensure compliance of the agreements adopted by the General Assemblies and the Board of Directors.
Tethey is also the Vice President of Vital Voices Honduras. She has a bachelor's degree in financial planning and counseling from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and an MBA from Texas Christian University. She was a Fulbright Scholar. She is a Fellow of the fourth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
