Dolf was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of Heineken N.V. in June 2020, based in the Netherlands.
He was formerly Regional President APAC from 2018 to 2020, based in Singapore. Between 2015 and 2018 he was President & CEO of Heineken Mexico/ Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma, based in Monterrey, Mexico. Between 2009 and 2015 he was President & CEO of Heineken USA, based in New York, USA. He was the Commercial Director of Bralima, Heineken's operating company in the Democratic Republic of Congo from 2005 to 2009. Dolf began his career at the Heineken Group Head Office in 1998 as a commercial management trainee. Between 1999 and 2005 Dolf fulfilled various marketing and sales roles at Vrumona and Heineken International.
Dolf also plays an important supporting role at the En Classe Foundation, which has rebuilt and supported 25 schools in Kinshasa D.R.C. (and was founded by his wife, Sylvia). In 2016 Dolf received the Vital Voices Solidarity Award for his and Heineken Mexico’s work against domestic violence in Mexico. In 2013, Dolf was awarded the Amb. K. Terry Dornbush Award by the Netherland-America Foundation, and was named to the Young Influentials List by Adweek. In 2012, Fortune Magazine listed him as one of their "40 Under 40".
A native of The Netherlands, Dolf graduated from the University of Groningen with a Msc degree in Business Administration and a MA in Philosophy. He is a 2014 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
