Brendan Boyle was elected to the US Congress to serve Pennsylvania's 13th congressional district in November 2014. Before that, Brendan served three terms with the Pennsylvania State Legislature, where he built an impressive legislative record in education, health care, government reform, and economic development.. He was first elected to the PA State Legislature in 2008 and was the first Democrat ever elected to his legislative district. Brendan is also an adjunct professor of public policy at Drexel University. A first generation American, Brendan was the first in his family to attend college, earning a bachelor's degree in government from the University of Notre Dame. He later earned a master's degree in public policy at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He is a 2011 Rodel Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
