Title and Organization:
In 1993, Keith Frome helped create a college admissions program for disadvantaged high school students that evolved into College Summit. In 2015, Keith became College Summit’s second-only chief executive officer with a vision to scale the organization’s impact on college access and success by leveraging the power of student-driven change.
Prior to his appointment, Keith designed and then led an innovative K-8 school on the east side of Buffalo, NY, the King Center Charter School, successfully creating a college-going culture among that city’s at-risk elementary and middle school students. He served as headmaster of the Elmwood Franklin School in Buffalo and assistant headmaster of the Browning School in New York City.
Keith is a member of the board of directors of the King Center Charter School, a member of the board of trustees of Saint Joseph’s Collegiate Institute and a member of America Achieves Board of Directors.
Keith has written two award-winning books on parenting and education and is the co-editor of a book of Civil War poetry. He is a graduate of Harvard Divinity School and holds an EdD in philosophy and education from Teachers College, Columbia University. He is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
