Brizio Biondi-Morra is the Board Chair of the Social Progress Imperative, whose vision is a world in which social progress sits alongside economic prosperity as a measure of development; Chair Emeritus and former President of INCAE, the leading Latin American business school; director and former President of Avina, a foundation working towards sustainable development in Latin America; former Chair of FUNDES, which promotes enterprise development in Latin America. Brizio is currently on the board of several foundations, is a Juror of the John P. McNulty Prize which is awarded in partnership with the Aspen Institute, and his previous experience includes being a director in Oxfam America’s Board; management consultant at Arthur D. Little, Cambridge, Massachusetts; President of ICC, a paper processing company based in New York; and Marketing for Du Pont de Nemours & Co. in Europe. He has lived 6 years in Africa, 13 in the United States, 20 in Europe, 25 in Latin America, and traveled in over 80 countries. Has published books on development for Cornell University Press, Editorial Siglo XXI and Nicaragua’s Central Bank. And has a doctorate in Business Administration from Harvard University and a doctorate in Economics from Bocconi University, Italy.
