Congressman Alan Grayson (D-FL) served three terms in Congress. Congressman Grayson graduated from the Bronx High School of Science, and in seven years at Harvard University, he earned three degrees (A.B. magna cum laude, M.P.P. and J.D. cum laude), and finished the coursework and passed the general exams for a Ph.D. Congressman Grayson was the co-founder and first President of IDT Corp., a telecommunications start-up that went public in 1996 and trades on the NYSE. In his last 4 years in the House, Congressman Grayson passed more legislation and wrote more bills than any other Member of the House. Slate magazine named Congressman Grayson the “most effective Member of Congress,” and Business Insider rated him the most productive.
