Title and Organization:
Born in Southern California in 1980, Michael Cordsen's family moved to the city of Paso Robles on California's Central Coast in 1985. After completing his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration degree from San Franciso State University in 2003, Michael returned to Paso Robles and began working at the Paso Robles Inn, quickly working his way up to Restaurant Manager of the Steakhouse within a year, and General Manager of the hotel in 2007. Then, after being told by his uncle about an opportunity with Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds, he decided to interview for the position and was brought on board by Andy Anzaldo to be the Facility and Food Service Manager in 2012. In his current role, Michael continues to oversee the healthy transition of food & beverage offered at the plant. His biggest accomplishment was having the opportunity to design a brand new dining facility, La Cocina Wonderful, from the ground up. The success of the new facility has resulted in a 500% increase in employee participation in the healthy food being served. Michael currently resides in Paso Robles with his wife Katie and 6 year old son Dallon.
