Bio:
Brian Moran is the global co-chair of Paul Hastings LLP's pro bono program. He has been with the firm's litigation department for 17 years and has been principally responsible for pro bono in the firm's New York office for the past 10 years. Prior to joining the firm, Brian was an assistant commissioner with the New York City Administration for Children's Services and was responsible for all agencies and programs for teenagers in foster care. Brian graduated from Brown University in 1984 and Cornell Law School in 1993. Prior to law school, Brian taught emotionally disturbed and learning disabled children, worked in a preventive child abuse agency in the South Bronx, and was the AIDS education coordinator for Beth Israel Medical Center. Brian's focus is to ensure that Paul Hastings continues to develop its worldwide pro bono program through innovation and commitment to helping those most vulnerable and in need.
