Julie Young is chief executive officer at Global Personalized Academics (GPA), a role she assumed in July 2015. GPA provides virtual and classroom learning to help students across the globe transform the way they learn. Under her leadership, Young will oversee the company's plans to offer international students the opportunity to earn a dual diploma from their native country in addition to one from a U.S. accredited high school through virtual learning. Prior to joining GPA, Young was founding president and CEO of the Florida Virtual School, the world's first virtual statewide school district.
