Kalpa’s journey at work has been a re-starter story of a woman of today’s time managing work and family life.. Being a mother of two kids, Kalpa believes in making a difference to the lives of many other children, through innovative ideas and experiences. School cinema is a unique pedagogy which uses film to teach life skills and values to students. It is a structured module, which uses age relevant cinema substantiated with interactive workbooks and suggested activities to teach values and life skills to students. It is a creative way to sensitize kids to content like bullying, racism, body shaming, regional disparity, social inclusion etc. Through its issue based films School cinema ensures three levels of learning. Creating awareness around the topic, developing deeper understanding and enabling the viewers to take affirmative action to handle the issue.
