Title and Organization:
Jenny Urizar has worked at the intersection of policy, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement in global organizations for the past 15+ years. She currently serves as the Vice President for Strategic Partnerships at the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth. She previously served as the Vice President and Director of Programs at the New Levant Initiative, a new effort to promote economic integration and culture in the Levant.
She was previously the Senior Advisor in Secretary Kerry’s Office of Global Partnerships at the State Department. Prior to that, she spent five years on the National Security Council in the White House, including serving as the Director for Strategic Planning, and previously as the Director for Global Engagement where she designed a number of global education, entrepreneurship, and economic development initiatives.
Before the Obama Administration, Jenny worked on post-conflict reconstruction issues at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and is a veteran of two Presidential campaigns as a foreign policy advisor, including the Obama-Biden 2008 Presidential campaign. Ms. Urizar received her BA from Brown University and her MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and was raised in Miami, Florida.
