Mary Baskerville is experienced in building strong corporate reputations through her executive visibility and strategic partnership expertise. She has driven initiatives and promoted objectives for Fortune 500 companies and two U.S. Presidents. Her collaborative efforts with diverse teams have led to successful partnerships with organizations including the Aspen Institute, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, World Economic Forum and the Clinton Foundation on topics ranging from financial inclusion, women's empowerment, D&I, water, the beverage industry and sustainability. She has also successfully collaborated with media partners including The Atlantic, AXIOS, POLITICO, Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.
Mary leads global executive positioning with the strategic partnerships team with Mastercard’s Center for Inclusive Growth. Prior to joining Mastercard, Mary was with multinational public relations and communications firm Burson Cohn & Wolfe (BCW), where she specialized in executive visibility and high-impact events. Before joining BCW, Mary was a Partnerships Manager with the Clinton Global Initiative where she worked with corporate and philanthropic partners on strategic engagement.
Mary served in the Obama Administration, where she traveled to over 12 countries and 26 states with the President and First Lady, planning press events and summits including the Let's Move Initiative, Let Girls Learn Initiative, the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections and other White House messaging events. She was key in planning the U.S. delegation’s involvement with the ASEAN Summit in Bali, NATO in Chicago, G8 in Lough Erne, G20 in Los Cabos, as well as the first official visit by a U.S. President to Cuba in 88 years. Most recently, Mary worked on former First Lady Michelle Obama’s global Becoming book tour. Originally from Maine, Mary began her career on Capitol Hill. She has also contributed to community-building efforts in Azerbaijan with the Peace Corps.
