Bio:
Steve Leibman (in which the 'ei' rhymes with those in feisty and seismic) is currently on a tour of duty with the US Digital Service as a Digital Services Expert.
Steve has been a software engineer and startup company executive developing products in areas ranging from aerodynamic analysis to maritime ship tracking to alternative home financing. He built the engineering organization for a bike sharing company, where the team made software that now powers the operations of many large bicycle and scooter sharing systems.
In the covid era he's been busy as parent/teacher/zookeeper for three sons and focused his work on society-scale problems, volunteering with US Digital Response and working as a data science consultant on interventions to support vaccine trust and convenience.
He grew up roaming the backroads of Colorado and Wyoming on bicycles, and now when he has the time, takes his kids long distance biking adventures and makes art.
