Title and Organization:
Danielle Baussan is Director of Operations for Policy and Public programs at the Aspen Institute, where she works with more than thirty programs to foster financial stability, recruit talent, and develop strategic organization plans and policies.
Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Danielle served as the Managing Director for Energy and Environment Policy at the Center for American Progress. She has held roles in various government offices and mission-driven nonprofits analyzing, advocating, and developing legislation at the local and federal level on health, sustainability, and environmental issues for more than a decade, including cap-and-trade and energy efficiency legislation.
Before her career in the public sector, she worked on political campaigns and as an attorney. She is a graduate of Rutgers College and The University of Virginia Law School.
