Bio:
Neo is the Chief Corporate Officer of Community Investment Ventures Holdings Proprietary Limited, a telecommunications infrastructure holding company. She is responsible for overseeing the legal, human resources and compliance and regulatory functions in addition to co-heading mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, Neo was a Founding Partner of DM5 Incorporated, a black female owned corporate law firm which places the interests of women at the core of its business. Neo is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She started her career in the competition law department at Webber Wentzel and has worked in the Investment Banking departments of JPMorgan and Absa Bank.
Neo’s independent non-executive roles include, amongst others, being a trustee of Young Entrepreneurs South Africa (YESA), a member of the G20’s Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (2011). She is a member of the assurance committee at Lafarge South Africa and was appointed to the inaugural board of Khula Sizwe Property Holdings, a new black-owned property holding and management company as well as the board of the Blue Bulls Company. Neo has served on the boards of CIDA Trust, Lafarge SA, South African Express.
