Bio:
Sharon Schneider is an entrepreneur, philanthropy expert, impact investor and strategist who advises socially conscious founders and family offices through her firm Integrated Capital Strategies, LLC. She has overseen more than $1.5 billion in philanthropic capital deployed through grants, impact investments, advocacy efforts and business operations from some of the world’s most prominent families, including members of the Giving Pledge, the Forbes 400 wealthiest individuals, top 10 US private foundations and others.
Sharon is also the author of Handbook for an Integrated Life: A Practical Guide to Aligning Your Everyday Choices with Your Internal Compass, a #1 New Release on Amazon that helps individuals live into their values no matter their income or socio-economic status.
Sharon recently co-founded the Executive Director Institute, 4-month bootcamp for philanthropy executives that provides targeted technical and experiential education to empower key donor staff to deploy dollars quickly and with confidence into high impact nonprofits and social enterprises.
Sharon previously served as the Executive Director of the Telluray Foundation, the founding Director of the Walton Personal Philanthropy Group supporting descendants of Sam and Helen Walton, and the co-founder and CEO of Moxie Jean, a for-profit social enterprise acquired by Schoola in 2015. While leading Moxie Jean she was named a "Top 100 Innovator" by the Chicago Tribune and won a Chicago Innovation Award.
Since moving to Denver in 2016, she has been named a Colorado Governor's Fellow, a member of Teach for America's Champion's Circle, and a "Who's Who in Impact Investing." She continues to serve on nonprofit and foundation boards and investment committees that further her life's goal to build a more just world that works for everyone.
