Bio:
Alejandro Poma is a Director of Grupo Poma, a Salvadoran based Multilatina with interests in automotive retail, parts, service and finance; hospitality; real estate development; construction materials and investments. At Grupo Poma, Alejandro leads Autofacil, an automobile finance company; the Investments office; Grupo Solaire, an industrial concern; and Fundación Poma, a family foundation focused on education, health, and culture. Poma is a board member of Fundacion Salvadoreña para la Salud y Desarrollo Human (FUSAL) and INCAE Business School, Latin America's leading graduate business school. In addition, he leads the Executive Committee of Libras de Amor which executes health and education initiatives focused on reducing child malnutrition in rural areas and is co-founder of Proyecto Pais, a youth violence prevention program in El Salvador. Alejandro is a member of the inaugural class of the Central America Leadership Initiative (CALI) and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN) and the Salvadoran chapter the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). In 2010, he was honored by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader. Alejandro earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in History from Boston College.
