Bio:
Alexandra Araujo is a Salvadoran businesswoman with a passion for improving the lives of women in Central America through her for-profit and non-profit work. She is a founder and Vice President of Vital Voices El Salvador, a non-profit organization focused on empowering women through capacity building, technical assistance, and mentoring programs. Alexandra is also CEO of her family’s Single-Family Office, where she manages a diversified portfolio and oversees estate planning and governance. She serves on the board of Banco Azul and Seguros Azul, both part of a Salvadoran financial services conglomerate. Additionally, she recently accepted the presidency of INCAE's National Comite in El Salvador, the #1 Business School in Latin American. She is an Advisor on the Salvadoran Civil Society Group of UN Women; and sits on the board of FEPADE, a Salvadoran NGO focused on improving public and private education. Alexandra holds a degree in International Business from Babson University and an MBA from INCAE Business School, and a chef’s degree from Cordon Bleu.  She and her husband, Diego de Sola, currently live in El Salvador with their three boys, Diego Xavier, Herbert, and Alejandro.
