Title and Organization:
Alexandra Araujo is a Salvadoran businesswoman with a passion for improving the lives of women in Central America through her for-profit and non-profit work. She is a founder and Vice President of Vital Voices El Salvador, a non-profit organization focused on empowering women through capacity building, technical assistance, and mentoring programs. Alexandra is also CEO of her family’s Single-Family Office, where she manages asset allocation, estate planning and oversees governance. She is an active board member of Banco Azul and Seguros Azul, both part of a Salvadoran financial services conglomerate. Additionally, Alexandra serves as a member and Advisor on the Salvadoran Civil Society Group of UN Women, and on the board of FEPADE, a Salvadoran NGO focused on improving public and private education. Alexandra holds a degree in International Business from Babson University and an MBA from INCAE Business School, and a chef’s degree from Cordon Bleu. She and her husband, Diego de Sola, currently live in El Salvador with their three boys, Diego Xavier, Herbert and Alejandro.
