Charlotte is Global Managing Director of Asian and World Art at Christie’s, a leading global art auction house. She was Managing Director of China of the firm previously. Before joining Christie’s in 2017, Charlotte was President of Greater China of Springer Nature, a top scientific and education publishing and media company with leading brands such as Nature, Macmillan, Springer, and Scientific American.
Charlotte has over 20 years of global business and leadership experience in China and North America. Born and raised in Shanghai, she has an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Fudan University in Shanghai, and an MBA degree from the Tuck School of business at Dartmouth College in the United States. Before her return to China in 2011, she worked with global publishing and business media provider McGraw-Hill Companies, based in New York. Earlier in her career she worked at the Boston Consulting Group, advising multinational companies on their China strategy. She serves on the Asian Advisory Board of the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Charlotte is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
