Bio:
Xin Li is the managing director for Caixin Business Insider, a joint venture under China’s Caixin Media that provides news, information, data and insights in English. Before rejoining Caixin, Xin was the managing editor of Chinese Wall Street Journal and editor of Chinese Dow Jones newswire between 2014 and 2016. Prior to Dow Jones, she founded Caixin’s English magazine and was its managing editor for five years, also serving on the editorial board of Caixin Media. She worked in the U.S. briefly, as the correspondent for Caijing Magazine based in Washington DC and helped the Chinese publication set up its first overseas bureau. She received a bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University in English, and a master’s degree from University of Missouri-Columbia on public policy journalism. Xin is a Fellow of the fourth class of the China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
