Bio:
Dr. Sebbaale A. Kato is CEO of Case Medical Centre. He has built this institution over the last ten years into one of the leading private health care providers in Uganda. Started as small high street clinic, Case Medical Centre is now housed in its own premises and has 100 beds in the capital city of Kampala. Sebbaale is still in academic medicine; he is currently a senior lecturer in the department of surgery at Makerere Medical School. He has pioneered laparoscopic surgery and renal dialysis in Uganda. Sebbaale is currently the chairman of the Uganda Cricket Association and member of the Council of the College of Surgeons of East, Central, and Southern Africa. He is a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons and World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons. He is married with four beautiful children. He is a Fellow of the second class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-East Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
