Bio:
Karen Kanes Floyd is CEO of The Palladian Group, which serves the marketing, development and technology needs of clients worldwide. She has served as chair of the Spartanburg County Council and worked for Flagstar Corporation in several executive positions. From 1992 through 1994 she was Chief Magistrate of the Magistrate Court in Spartanburg County. Prior to that she was a partner in the law firm of King, Hray and Kanes. Karen is a board member of The Arts Partnership of Spartanburg and the Department of Natural Resources, and has served as a board member of the Palmetto Conservation Foundation, the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the Spartanburg Development Council. She earned her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, and her bachelor of arts from Goucher College. She is a Fellow of the third class of the Liberty Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
