Marci Zaroff pioneered the market for ECOfashion®, a term she coined and trademarked in 1995 to define the fusion of style and sustainability. She is currently Founder and CEO of ECOfashion Corp, a "Greenhouse of Brands" including B2B sustainable apparel manufacturer "MetaWear" with mass market brands "Farm to Home" and "Seed to Style", and D2C contemporary brand "Yes And." A serial entrepreneur, Marci is also Founder and former CEO of ecolifestyle brand Under the Canopy, and Co-Founder of BeyondBrands conscious consulting agency, Good Catch plant-based seafood, and "The Institute for Integrative Nutrition," the world's leading "health coach" certification program. Marci speaks internationally on sustainable textiles, organic and regenerative agriculture, and conscious business, and was a key driver in defining USA and global standards for organic fiber and Fair Trade textile certification. She is Chair of the Board of the Textile Exchange, and a current trustee/former Board member of the Organic Center/Organic Trade Association, is on the Advisory Board of Regenerative Rising and Cradle to Cradle Institute's "Fashion Positive, and is Producer of "Thread | Driving Fashion Forward", unveiling the human and environmental impacts of the fashion industry. Marci was selected as New York Moves' "Top 25 Power Women", and received the Natural Product Industry's "Socially Responsible Business Award", Fashion Group International's "Rising Star Award", Retail Touchpoints' "Retail Innovator Award, and the Real Leaders’ Impact Award." Marci is featured in the book "ECO AMAZONS: 20 Women Who Are Transforming the World" and is the Author of "ECOrenaissance: Co-Creating a Stylish, Sexy, and Sustainable World" (Simon & Schuster, 2018.) She has a Finance and Marketing degree from the Haas Business School of the University of California, Berkeley. Marci is a 2010 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
