Bio:
Ms. Xu is co-founder, Managing Partner, and Chief Investment Officer of VS Partners Co., Ltd (“VSP”), with near-two-decades of experience in Asia Pacific capital markets. VSP is a values-based Outsourced Chief Investment Office (“OCIO”) that provides impartial, bespoke global asset allocation solutions with an institutional approach. The firm endeavors to empower its investors with value-based tools to sustain and grow monetary and social wealth for their pursuit of lasting impact. Ms. Xu is also co-founder of FountainCap Research & Investment Co., Ltd (“FountainCap”), one of the leading long-only equity managers in Greater China with assets primarily from prominent institutions including sovereign-wealth, pension, university endowments, family offices, and large financial institutions. Prior to VSP, under Ms. Xu’s leadership, FountainCap won two consecutive years the “Asset Management Company of the Year – China Equity” award by The Asset in 2018 and 2019, and in three consecutive years the Golden Bull China Overseas Long-Only Management Company in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Prior to founding her own asset management businesses, Ms. Xu was an Investment Officer at the Capital Group’s private equity subsidiary, which then managed one of the world’s largest single emerging market private equity funds, and in her earlier years a senior investment banker at J.P. Morgan., Credit Suisse, and Citigroup in Hong Kong. Prior to her finance career, Ms. Xu was a management consultant at Monitor Group in Beijing in early 2000’s.
Ms. Xu holds a B.A. of International Economics from Peking University, PRC, a M.A. of Economics from the Ohio State University, USA, and EMBA from China Europe International Business School. Ms. Xu is a Fellow of Aspen China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network
