Frank Zhu is chief executive officer of Oriental DreamWorks, A world-class family entertainment brand rooted in China. Oriental DreamWorks also created and distributed the first American-Chinese animation Kung Fu Panda 3. Frank leads an executive leadership team focused on company’s vision to provide world-class, innovative entertainment content and experiences for consumers in China and around the world. Prior to joining Oriental DreamWorks, Frank co-founded a local entertainment company Taomee, served as the executive vice president and the company went public in 2011. He was the chief producer of 300 episodes of the Chinese animated TV series Mole, Seer and other five animated feature films which ranked among the greatest of all-time at the domestic box office. Frank also worked for the Walt Disney Company and established Disney China toys licensing business. He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Fudan University. Frank is a Fellow of the fifth class of the China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
