Dan is the CEO of S&P Dow Jones Indices (SPDJI), which is the world’s most important index provider with solutions across all major asset classes and investor segments. S&P Dow Jones Indices are utilized across the investment ecosystem, including options and futures markets, passive/quant investment management, exchanges, ETFs and OTC/structured products. SPDJI is a leader in the ESG investment landscape. Prior to joining SPDJI, Dan held asset management, investment banking and wealth management leadership positions in Chicago, London, Hong Kong, New York and Jakarta for Invesco, Credit Suisse, Societe Generale, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, UBS and Salomon Brothers. He serves as a board director for Delta Dental of Virginia and the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Dan is a Fellow of the 2017 class “Twogether” of the Finance Leaders Fellowship at the Aspen Institute and is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Dan lives in Chicago with his wife and three daughters.
