Kathleen Kimiko Phillips-Lohrmann most recently served as the president and COO of Berens Capital Management, an independent asset management firm with distinct expertise in global, value-oriented investing. Kimi joined the firm in 2001 and left the firm at the end of 2018 after successfully integrating the firm into Alternative Investment Group. Prior to that, Kimi worked at BARRA Strategic Consulting Group (now called Casey Quirk by Deloitte), a management consulting firm where she specialized in advising investment management organizations. Kimi received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in economics and psychology from Bowdoin College, which included coursework at the University of Edinburgh. Kimi is a member of the board of trustees of Bowdoin College. She previously served on the boards of Advancing Girls’ Education in Africa (AGE Africa) and the Metropolitan Opera. Kimi is also a member of the YPO Metro New York Chapter. Kimi and her husband relocated their family to Munich, Germany from New York City at the beginning of 2019. Kimi is a Fellow of the 2017 class of the Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
