Bio:
Ms. Annabelle Yu Long is the founding and managing partner of BAI Capital, a leading venture capital fund in China. Since 2008, Ms. Long has led the team to achieve more than 18 IPOs and more than 40 unicorns, including Linklogis (09959.HK), Lexin (NASDAQ:LX), BitAuto (NYSE:BITA), NetEase Cloud Music (09899.HK), SF Intra-City (09699.HK), Yixin (02858.HK), Dingdong Fresh (NYSE:DDL), BIGO, Stori, Keep (03650.HK), PingCAP, Seyond, ClearMotion, Source, Viture, Lejian, Colorful Pines, Tantan, Mobike, etc. BAI Capital originated from Bertelsmann Asia Investments (BAI), a division of the Bertelsmann Group. In 2021, the firm rebranded as BAI Capital and launched an independent $700 million Fund I, which was closed in 2022 with an investor base that includes institutional investors such as sovereign wealth funds, large insurance companies, internet giants and FOFs globally, in addition to Bertelsmann. Besides her role at BAI Capital, Ms. Long serves as an independent director of Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, NIO (NYSE:NIO; HKEX:9866; SGX:NIO) and Tapestry Inc. (NYSE:TPR, whose portfolio includes Coach, Stuart Weitzman and Kate Spade). Notably, she was the inaugural Chinese member of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Advisory Council, serving from 2015 to 2021. She was named a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum in 2011 and has been actively involved in the WEF. Ms. Long holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BSEE from the University of Electronic Science and Technology in China.
