Kaitlin McDonald is an event associate for the Aspen Global Leadership Network where she works on the planning and execution of the Resnick Aspen Action Forum, an annual week-long gathering of over 350 participants in Aspen, Colorado. In addition to this event, Kaitlin support various alumni offerings and oversees the globalization seminar series which consists of 6 to 8 international seminars that take place annually each winter and spring. Prior to working at the Aspen Institute, she lived in Aspen, Colorado for three years where she managed events for Bluebird Productions, an event planning and marketing firm specializing in weddings, corporate and non-profit events. Her primary focus was the logistical and operational components of planning and executing events as well as the creation and management of clients' marketing strategies. Prior to living in Aspen, Kaitlin lived and worked in Washington, DC for No Labels, a non-profit organization with the goal of fostering bipartisan dialogue among American political leaders. As No Labels' deputy field director, Kaitlin managed the organization's supporters, created communication and marketing strategies for interacting with citizens across the nation, and planned events on Capitol Hill. Kaitlin graduated from American University with a bachelor's degree in international studies and a focus on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East.
