What to Expect from the 2021 Program

Programming begins Wednesday, July 21 and concludes Sunday, July 25.


This year's virtual program increases access for people to participate, embraces the proximity we each have to our local communities, and creates new opportunities to engage in learning, practicing, and sustaining collective efforts. Learn more on what to expect from the program below.

Seminar Dialogues
 

Seminar Dialogues will allow you to engage in classic text-based dialogue with a cohort of Fellows from around the world. There will be three sessions over the course of the week. With varied time slots to best fit your schedule, cohorts and their moderator will stay together across all three sessions. During registration, you will select a Seminar Dialogue Track and corresponding time that suits your schedule. Refer to the Global Time Zone Guide to start planning what Track works best for you.

Plenaries
 

Plenaries will feature leaders sharing their own personal experiences and encouraging participants to continue to enact meaningful change in their communities and around the world.

Agora is a new part of the AGLN website where you can join existing efforts led by others and/or host your own meet-up on whatever you’re looking to gather leaders around. This is your opportunity to spark collaboration, learn from fellow leaders, and act together. The Mind-Body-Spirit Series creates space for participants to pause, refresh, reflect, and move. Before the opening and closing plenary, we will offer a different activity to get active and build community.

All activities in Agora are led by the community, for the community. Once registered, you can host meet-ups open to the AGLN community. Meet-ups can be anything from gatherings on issue-specific communities of practice to location-based volunteer opportunities, from virtual skill shares to venture visits, and beyond. Don't want to host, but still want to contribute? How do you want to leverage your talents and resources?
