For more than 25 years, Pauline Brown has acquired, built and led global brands. She recently completed a business book about aesthetic intelligence, which will be released this fall by HarperCollins. Earlier in her career, Pauline was the Chairman of North America for the world’s leading luxury goods company, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, where she provided regional leadership for 70 brands in 5 sectors, including fashion, jewelry, cosmetics, and wines & spirits. Before LVMH, she was a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group, where she specialized in consumer and retail investments. Prior to entering private equity, she held senior roles at beauty companies, including Estee Lauder and Avon. She began her career as a Management Consultant at Bain & Company. Pauline serves on several boards, including the publicly-traded steakhouse chain, Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group. In the non-profit arena, she serves on the Board of the Parsons School of Design. Pauline also hosts a weekly lifestyle show on SiriusXM, called “Tastemakers.” Pauline received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School. She is 2008 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Fellowship's board of overseers.
