Bio:
As a Managing Director at Bezos Family Foundation (BFF), Chris leads the Foundation's adolescent programs and grantmaking strategy. Guided by the belief that all young people deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential and meaningfully contribute to society, the Foundation invests in the science of learning and the experiences that young people from birth through high school need to learn and thrive. Prior to joining BFF, Chris co-founded and served as Executive Director of Global Nomads Group (GNG), an international educational organization focused on increasing access to global learning for youth. Under his leadership, GNG reached more than one million young people and helped foster dialogue, understanding, and youth agency. Chris previously served as Country Director and Regional Chief of Party for Search for Common Ground in Rwanda and has twenty years of experience opening and operationalizing offices across Asia, the Americas, and Africa. He is a graduate of The American University of Paris, a Pahara fellow at The Aspen Institute and an active member of TED and Skoll World Forum.
