Bio:
Mary H. Hipp is board chair of Feed & Seed, a nonprofit connecting regional farmers and growers with regional demand making food more accessible to all while creating a vibrant agriculture community. Her previous career includes Chef, Caterer and Instructor at Tante Marie's Cooking School in San Francisco. Boards – Feed & Seed, Metropolitan Arts Council, Friends of Brookgreen Gardens, Washington & Lee South Carolina Piedmont Alumni Chapter (chair and treasurer), W&L Alumni Board, Friends of the Reedy River and LiveWell Greenville; Previous boards - Friends of the Zoo (chair), The Peace Center for the Performing Arts, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greenville Humane Society, Greenville Chamber Board of Regents< Greenville Women Giving and Project Host; Member – Carolina Foothills Garden Club (communications chair) and City of Greenville Arts in Public Places Commission; Graduate – Leadership Greenville, Riley Institute Diversity Leaders Initiative, Leadership South Carolina and Women's Connection; Recipient - Washington and Lee University Alumni of the Year (2015) She earned a degree from Washington and Lee University and Tante Marie's Culinary School. Mary is a Fellow of the seventh class of the Liberty Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
