Bio:
Ami Dror is the founder and CEO of BriBooks, the world’s leading writing platform, enabling children of all ages to write, publish and sell their books. As a father of three, and as a serial entrepreneur, Ami is passionate about cultivating kids’ ability to be innovative. Prior to BriBooks, Ami founded LeapLearner, the world's largest coding education company with over 2,200,000 students across 20 countries. In 2019, Ami authored a best-selling book, Raising Future Innovators, that aims to give parents and educators the tools to raise the next generation of innovators. On a path for global inclusiveness, Ami founded Ponka.org, the first tech company in Sierra Leone. located at the rural Ponka village, the social impact company provides outsourced tech services to international tech companies. Ami’s first startup venture was the 3D Cinema industry front-runner, XPAND 3D which reinvented the cinema experience. While growing XPAND 3D, Ami also played an integral role in the development of Amblyz, a company that revolutionized the treatment of childhood amblyopia. Later, Ami co-founded Zaitoun Ventures, an Israeli-Palestinian investment fund that invests in disruptive start-ups across multiple sectors. Before beginning his career as entrepreneur, Ami served as a Captain in the Israeli Secret Service and a diplomat at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ami is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Institute Moderator Corps. He works closely with international non-profit organizations and is passionate about leveraging education to empower underprivileged populations across the globe.
