Title and Organization:
Adrianna C. Ma is a Managing Partner of Fremont Group, a San Francisco-based single-family investment company. She oversees BF Global, the flagship portfolio of third-party managed funds, including investment strategy, asset allocation, manager selection, co-investments and risk management.
Prior to joining Fremont Group, Adrianna was a managing director of General Atlantic, where she spent ten years investing in and serving on the boards of directors of technology-enabled growth companies globally. Before joining General Atlantic, she was an investment banker for five years in Morgan Stanley's Mergers and Acquisitions Department. Prior to Morgan Stanley, she was a project manager at the network server division of Hewlett-Packard Company.
Adrianna is a director of Applied Materials, Inc. She is also involved with a number of educational and not-for-profit organizations. She serves on the Board of the MIT Investment Management Company, which oversees MIT’s endowment, as well as on a visiting committee of the MIT Corporation and on MIT's Media Lab Advisory Council. Adrianna is a Trustee of The Nature Conservancy's California Board and a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Adrianna received BS in electrical science and engineering and ME in electrical engineering and computer science degrees from MIT. She also received an MBA from Harvard Business School. Adrianna is a 2012 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
