Tamsin Smith brings to life good ideas that matter to the world. She leads brand strategy & partnerships at SUGi, which creates ultra-biodiverse pocket forests in cities and schools around the world. Prior roles have included: head of brand strategy for Mab & Stoke, chief philanthropy officer for Boon Supply, head of brand and partnerships for Trove Recommerce, president of the Larry King Cardiac Foundation, and senior advisor to the United Nations Foundation. From 2006-2009, she served as founding president of (RED), working with partners Bono and Bobby Shriver to galvanize creative capitalism by empowering iconic brands and regular consumers to make a profound difference in the lives of women and children in Africa. (RED) has raised over $650 million and impacted the lives of over 220 million people. Smith is also a published novelist and author of four poetry collections. She holds an MA from Tufts University and a BA from Kenyon College, where she graduated summa cum laude with highest honors in English Literature. She is a 2009 Henry Crown Fellow at The Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
