Leighanne Levensaler leads the team responsible for setting product direction for Workday, the leader in SaaS-based enterprise solutions for global human resources, payroll, and financial management. Prior to Workday, Leighanne, a strategist that has long specialized in the intersection of people and technology, predicted the convergence of talent and human capital management systems while serving as principal analyst and director of talent management research at Bersin & Associates. Before that, Leighanne spent more than a decade working with large companies to develop HR strategies and integrated talent development solutions. She also led the learning consulting practice at SystemLink Enterprise Solutions, and has held positions at SmartForce, Edutrek International/AIU, and Deloitte Consulting. Leighanne is a frequent speaker and contributing writer for countless industry events and magazines. She has been profiled in Human Resources andTalent Management magazines, has been named a top influencer, and is an active member of numerous industry associations. Leighanne is a longtime volunteer and supporter of Project Global Village in Honduras and has mentored high school students regarding the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. Leighanne holds a master's degree in human resource development from Georgia State University, where she was awarded a Dean's leadership award. She earned a bachelor's degree in education from Clemson University, where she received the Norris Medal, an award for exceptional scholastic achievement and leadership ability. She is a 2012 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
